Wave Propagation

3D Wave Propagation:
Seismic wave propagation is used to characterize the seismic velocity, anisotropy and porosity of formation. The wave is excited from a source at the bottom of model and propagates through the earth which is realised by 3D numerical simulation. This algorithm could be applied toward exploration geophysics application. As the computer performance increases and overcomes the burden of complex algortihm, 3D application could be much more important in the future.
